Thing 13: Library Thing
I know I will really like this thing for myself. It will help me keep up with the books I've read. I toured Library Thing, started my own account, added books to my library, but could not create a widget to my blog. It kept saying "this gadget is broken". I will try again later. I could not find any local events. I will sure tell others about Library Thing, especially the people who ask if we keep a list of what they have checked out.

Thing 12: Wikis
I really like Wikis better since watching the video. I was never excited about using Wikipedia, but now I see there are other uses as well. I liked the library wikis, using it to keep policy and procedures and instructions handy for anyone to use. I agree with why teachers limit students using Wikipedia for research because of the students using it only as a source. I edited the Neflin Wiki.
Thing 11: Social Media
I'm not excited about this thing. I don't feel like I am really reading news and just don't care for junk news or gossip columns. I don't wouldn't recommend them because what I thinks is news worthy may not be what to others. I also think these sites would be time wasters.

Thing 10: Tagging and Delicious
I learned alot doing this thing. Didn't know anything about tagging or book marking websites.
I now understand about tagging. I think it is a good idea. I think I will like the delicious part of this thing the best as I do not have a designated computer at work. I have a delicious account now. It will be a good tool to use at the library.

Thing 9: Sharing - slides, photos, databases
I used Picture Trail to creat the photo
cube of the library. It was easy to use. I think these are all fun things to use. They make being creative for the noncreative person easy.
